The Poco Pad 5G is making its way to India on August 23.
It is already available in the global market.
The tablet runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and features a 10,000mAh battery.
Poco is bringing its first tablet, the Poco Pad 5G, to India. Last month, during an exclusive interview with Times Network and Digit, Poco India head Himanshu Tandon confirmed that the first Poco tablet will launch in the country in August. Now, we have learnt that the Poco Pad 5G will launch in India on August 23. It will be sold via Flipkart.
Along with the Poco Pad 5G, the company will also launch accessories – the keyboard cover and the stylus. All of these can be seen in the image accessed by Times Network and Digit.
The Poco Pad 5G will compete directly with the OnePlus Pad Go and Redmi Pad Pro 5G in the Indian market. It runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and features a 10,000mAh battery. Read on for more details.
Poco Pad 5G specifications
As I mentioned above, the Poco Pad 5G is already available in the global market, which means we have the specifications. It comes with an Aluminium body with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the display. Speaking of the display, it features a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution. This display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 68 billion colour, Dolby Vision, and 600 nits of brightness.
Furthermore, it is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, which is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. This tablet comes with cellular support and with that, you also get a dedicated slot for the memory card. The Poco Pad 5G runs on HyperOS which is based on Android 14.
For meetings and video calls, you get an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with this tablet. On the back as well, there is an 8-megapixel main camera.
Lastly, the Poco Pad 5G is packed with a 10,000mAh battery that supports up to 33-watt fast charging support.
Apart from this, we can spot a stylus and a keyboard with the tablet in the official banner. This means, Poco will be offering accessories with this tablet as well.
What will be the price?
Expected to launch in India for under Rs 30,000, the Poco Pad will go on sale on Flipkart. However, the exact pricing will be revealed upon launch. So, stay tuned till August 23!
