Looks like LG is early to the CES 2017 party. In an early press release, the company has announced that it will be showcasing a first-of-its-kind Chromecast enabled PC monitor at the Consumer Electronic Show 2017.

The 34-inch, 21:9 Ultrawide Mobile Monitor will essentially have the ability to Chromecast content from the Google Home app on iOS and Android, without the need of plugging in a separate Chromecast dongle. LG also said that the monitor will enable users to see content from their phones and PC on the screen at the same time. The keyboard and mouse will also be able to control a user’s phone and PC simultaneously, using a monitor feature called Dual Controller Plus. Users will also get control of their monitor’s settings through a mobile app called LG Mobile+.
The price for the Ultrawide Mobile Monitor has not been revealed yet and neither do we have any set date for its market availability. LG is expected to announce the same at CES and we will keep a close eye on this one. The biggest yearly showcase in the electronics industry, CES will be held in Las Vegas starting January 3, 2017.
