SKOAR! College Cup – Delhi Edition finale begins today: What to expect
The long wait finally comes to an end. India’s largest esports tournament, SKOAR! College Cup Delhi Edition finale kicks off today in Delhi NCR and it will bring together some of the most competitive campus teams in the region. These teams have survived intense matches until now and they are all set to take the spotlight once again. Backed by Times Network and Digit, the two day LAN event carries a prize pool worth Rs 30 lakh. From intense BGMI battles to Valorant matches, this is not just another college fest competition. It is a serious esports showcase with real stakes, live production and a packed audience expected at the venue. Here is all that you can expect from the event.
SurveyTwo days, two titles, one big stage
The grand finale is being hosted at Bennett University, which has been transformed into a high energy esports arena for two days. Today’s spotlight is on Battlegrounds Mobile India, where the qualified teams will compete in the LAN finals. These teams have battled through weeks of qualifiers to earn their spot on stage, and now they will play live in front of an audience using professional tournament setups.
Tomorrow, the focus shifts to Valorant, where two finalist teams will go head to head. With a combined prize pool of Rs 30 lakh across both titles, the tournament highlights how competitive and structured college esports has become.
For many of these players, this is their first experience competing in a near professional environment, complete with live casting, big screens and stage pressure. The format is designed to test skill, teamwork and composure under real world tournament conditions.
Fan zones, cosplay and more
While the main attraction is the LAN finals, the SKOAR! College Cup experience extends well beyond the stage. A dedicated SKOAR Zone has been set up to bring together competitive gaming and campus culture. Attendees can follow the live action on large screens, interact with hosts and casters, and take part in fan focused activities across the venue.
There will also be a cosplay contest open to participants, adding a pop culture layer to the competitive atmosphere. For students who want to get hands on, an Experience Zone will feature mini tournaments and open play challenges, offering a more relaxed but still competitive setting. Giveaways, gaming merchandise and exclusive SKOAR goodies are also part of the on ground experience.
As the finale begins today, all eyes are on Delhi NCR’s top college gamers to see who will walk away with the trophy. Keep watching this space for more updates.
