Lenovo unveiled the Legion Y730 and Y530 laptops, T730 and T530 towers, as well as C730 and C530 cubes.
While E3 is best known for publishers unveiling new games, Lenovo took the opportunity to unveil a total of six new gaming PCs at the event. The PCs are under the company's Legion brand and includes the Y720 and Y530 laptops, T730 and T530 towers, as well as C730 and C530 cubes.
Lenovo Legion Y730 and Y530 laptops
Lenovo’s new Legion Y730 and Y530 gaming laptops are aimed at offering a device that can appeal to gamers who are also working professionals. The Legion 530 offers a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and features a white-backlit keyboard. It offers up to an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor and up to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. The new Lenovo Legion Y530 laptop also natively supports Dolby Audio.
The Legion Y730 is more premium of the two laptops and is available in two variants. One with a 15.6-inch Full HD display, and the other with a 17-inch Full HD display. Both offer a refresh rate of 144Hz and an option for G-SYNC. Other configuration options for the two laptops seem to be the same. Both feature Corsair CUE RGB-Keyboard and features six custom macro “Y” keys for added customisation. The laptops are available with up to an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor and up to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. They also also offer dual-channel cooling.
The 17-inch Lenovo Legion Y730 Laptop starts at $1,249.99 (approx Rs 84,300), while the 15-inch variant starts at $1,179.99 (approx Rs 79,600). Both will be available in the US starting September 2018.
The Lenovo Legion Y530 Laptop starts at $929.99 (approx Rs 62,700) and will be available in the US from this month.
Lenovo Legion T730 and T530 towers
The Lenovo Legion T730 tower offers up to an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700K processor with up to a 6GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics. It features a full internal and external RGB system lighting that is located behind a clear window. For storage, it offers optional 32GB DDR4 overclocked Corsair Vengeance memory and up to two 512GB PCIe RAID 0 SSD or 2TB SATA HDD storage. The Legion T730 also gives users the option of Asetek liquid cooling.
Legion T530 is a more affordable option as compared to the T730. It is available in Intel and AMD variants. The Intel variant is powered by up to an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700 processor, while the AMD variant offers up to a Ryzen 7 2700X. Both feature red system lighting and offer up to a 6GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060. The Legion T730 and the T530 are designed to be worked on without the use of tools.
The Legion T730 starts at $929.99 (approx Rs 62,700), while the Legion T530 starts at $829.99 (approx Rs 56,000). Both will be available from August in the US.
Lenovo C730 and C530 cubes
The Lenovo C730 and C530 are designed for gamers who are looking for portability, with the added benefits of desktop gaming. The Lenovo C730 is available with up to an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700K processor and up to 6GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics. The C730 also offers RGB lighting and optional overclocked 32GB Corsair DDR4 memory.
The Legion C530 offers up to an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700 and is available with up to 6GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060. Unlike the C730, the C530 only offers Red system lighting.
The Legion C730 starts at $929.99 (approx Rs 62,700), while the Legion C530 starts at $829.99 (approx Rs 56,000). Both will be available from August in the US.
