Rockstar will reward creators whose work gets featured, along with new tools to enhance content creation.
Rockstar Games has announced a fresh update for GTA Online, focusing on the creativity of its player base with the launch of two new rotating playlists- the Community Race Series and the upcoming Community Combat Series. Alongside these new features, the studio is also rolling out updated tools for creators and rewarding those whose work gets featured.
SurveyThe Community Race Series debuts this Thursday, showcasing fan-made tracks in a dedicated playlist. The game has grouped the races, allowing players to jump from one high-speed challenge to the next seamlessly. In the coming weeks, Rockstar will expand the spotlight with the Community Combat Series, which will feature user-created Deathmatches, King of the Hill, Survival modes, and more.
Each week, the playlists will refresh with a new set of community jobs, ensuring a steady rotation of content for both players and creators. The original Community Series, comprising different genres and featuring a mix of new and classic fan favourites, will also return during special in-game events.
As a special reward, Rockstar is giving all featured creators, past and present, an exclusive R Community Series Varsity Jacket in-game. Starting today, creators can find the item by visiting their wardrobe- Tops > Bomber Jackets > RCommunity Series Varsity.

Additionally, Rockstar has shared a few tips for aspiring creators to get their work featured:
- Prioritise originality, avoid copying existing jobs or referencing outside media.
- Keep gameplay fast-paced and engaging.
- Use Creator tools as intended.
- For races, consider limiting each vehicle to a single entry for balanced competition.
Apart from these, the Creator toolset has also been upgraded, making it easier and more flexible to build custom jobs. It includes new aim mode settings like Partial Aim Assist and Free Aim, prep time options between waves in survival modes, the ability to add zombie enemies in Survival Creator and seasonal ambient settings such as snow and Halloween-themed weather.
