Set in the fall of 1987, the last season of Stranger Things will consist of eight episodes and Netflix has already revealed the title names. Notably, the title of the second episode remains a mystery, sparking plenty of theories among fans who think it might tie into earlier events in the series.

Stranger Things Season 5 new cast members
All the main characters from Hawkins are expected to return, but there will also be some new additions in Season 5. Among the new faces are Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux. Linda Hamilton, known for her role in The Terminator, is also coming onboard.
At Netflix’s 2023 Tudum event, Hamilton spoke about her excitement to be part of the show: “I don’t know how to be a fangirl and an actress at the same time.”
What to expect in Stranger Things Season 5
The Duffer Brothers have already mapped out the story arc for the final season. They have even created a 25-page document detailing the secrets of the Upside Down. While many questions were addressed in Season 4, fans can expect the most significant reveals to come in Season 5.
In 2022, during Netflix’s Geeked Week, Ross Duffer said, “The last remaining questions that are answered in that document, we’ve punted a couple of those to have some big reveals in Season 5.” He added, “And that’s really going to affect what Season 5 is about.”
