One Piece season 3 release timeline
As of now, Netflix has not announced an official release date of One Piece season 3. However, reports suggest the new season may arrive sometime in mid-2027. Although the wait may seem long, the production of the series requires a huge amount of work behind the scenes.
The live-action adaptation includes large sets and heavy visual effects to recreate the imaginative world of One Piece. Since every season involves extensive filming and post-production work, creating the final episodes takes considerable time.

One Piece season 3 what to expect
Season 3 is expected to focus on the famous Alabasta storyline. In this arc, Luffy and his crew travel to the kingdom of Alabasta which is struggling with political unrest. A key character in this story is Nefertari Vivi, a princess who asks the Straw Hat Pirates for help in saving her kingdom. The main threat will be Crocodile, a powerful pirate who is secretly creating chaos.
The upcoming season will also introduce some important new characters. Actor Xolo Mariduena is set to play Portgas D. Ace, while Cole Escola will play theatrical assassin Bon Clay.
