The new season will follow Francesca as she deals with a major loss in her life. Her husband, John Stirling, passes away, leaving her to cope with grief. For a long time, Francesca has kept herself away from social life. After nearly two years, she begins to think about returning to society and possibly finding love again. However, things do not go as she planned.

Bridgerton season 5 release timeline
The makers have not confirmed an official release date of Bridgerton season 5 yet. However, reports suggest that the new season may arrive sometime between late 2027 and early 2028.

Bridgerton season 6 already confirmed
The creators have already confirmed that the series will continue beyond season 5. In fact, the show was renewed for season 5 and season 6 even before season 4 premiered.
