The latest season offered plenty of romance, heartfelt moments, and some unexpected twists. Naturally, this has left many fans eager to know what’s next for the Bridgerton family. The big questions that must be on your mind now are: which sibling will take center stage in the next season, and when can we expect it to arrive? Well, one thing is clear that the Bridgerton story is far from over.

Netflix has already confirmed that the show will continue. Even before Bridgerton season 4 was released, the platform renewed the series for two more seasons- season 5 and season 6. This means that you can expect at least two more chapters.

As of now, makers have not announced an official release date of Bridgerton season 5. However, the word has it that the next chapter is expected to premiere sometime in late 2027 and early 2028.

Who will lead Bridgerton season 5?
Each season of Bridgerton focuses on a different Bridgerton sibling, and the next chapter will be no different. While it is still unclear which sibling will take the spotlight in season 5, the show’s creator has already given us an idea as to who could be the lead.

At the Paris premiere of Bridgerton season 4 part 1, showrunner Jess Brownell wore a suit, which had two pocket squares featuring letters ‘E’ and ‘F’. Speaking to Deadline, Brownell said, ‘Both characters with the initials on my pocket squares will get seasons in five [and] six.’ She added, ‘In what order? I can’t say.’
This strongly suggests that Eloise Bridgerton and Francesca Bridgerton will take the spotlight in the upcoming seasons. However, the exact order is still unclear.
