Netflix has finally released the first part of the much-awaited Bridgerton season 4. Just like several other Netflix’s popular shows, the new season of Bridgerton has been split into two parts. Season 4 places the spotlight on Benedict Bridgerton, the family’s charming and rebellious second son. Known for avoiding responsibility and marriage, Benedict feels increasing pressure from both his mother and high society to settle down. His life takes a dramatic turn at a masquerade ball, where he meets a mysterious woman dressed in silver. The two instantly connect, sharing a magical evening and a kiss before she suddenly disappears at midnight, leaving behind only a white glove.

She is the daughter of an earl and a maid, and after her father’s death, she is treated cruelly by her stepmother and forced into servitude. When her stepmother realises Sophie was the woman who caught Benedict’s eye at the ball, she dismisses Sophie and throws her out of the house.
Fate brings Benedict and Sophie together again in the countryside when he rescues her from a dangerous situation. As they spend time together, Benedict slowly falls for Sophie without realising she is the same woman he has been searching for since the masquerade. Their bond deepens further once they return to London, especially within the Bridgerton household, where Sophie begins to feel accepted.
