The much-awaited first part of Bridgerton season 4 was released last month. This time, the story turns its spotlight on Benedict Bridgerton, the second son of the family, whose life has always been guided more by freedom than duty. Unlike his siblings, Benedict has never shown much interest in marriage or settling down. However, as the season begins, his mother pushes him toward finding a proper match. Though he resists at first, one evening changes everything.
SurveyDuring a masquerade ball, Benedict meets a mysterious woman dressed in shimmering silver. The two instantly feel drawn to each other and spend the night talking, dancing and laughing. Their connection feels magical, but just as the clock strikes midnight, the woman suddenly runs away. All she leaves behind is a single white glove.

The mysterious stranger is later revealed to be Sophie Baek, a young woman with a complicated life. She is the daughter of an earl and a maid, which places her in an uncomfortable position within society. After her father dies, her life takes a harsh turn when her stepmother forces her into servitude. When Sophie’s secret visit to the masquerade and her interaction with Benedict come to light, she gets thrown out of the house with nothing.
Fate brings them together again in the countryside, where Benedict rescues Sophie from a dangerous situation. As they spend time together, they grow closer and develop a deep emotional bond. Benedict begins falling in love, not realising that Sophie is the same woman he has been searching for since the masquerade.
