Inspired by the real-life experiences of Manathi Ganesan, the film follows Kittan Veluswamy, portrayed by Dhruv Vikram. Kittan belongs to a community that has long faced social discrimination, and his dream of excelling in Kabaddi is threatened by violence and caste hostility.
His father strongly opposes his interest in the sport, but Kandeeban, a physical education teacher, recognises his natural ability and agrees to guide him.
