Realme truly wireless earbuds teased in images ahead of December 17 launch
HIGHLIGHTS

Realme has confirmed that it will launch its truly wireless earbuds at an event on December 17.

The earphones will be announced in yellow, black and white colour models.

The Realme XT 730G will also be launched at the event.

Just a couple of years ago, the truly wireless earphone segment was relatively quiet with only a handful of manufacturers but now, almost every smartphone and audio device manufacturer has something to offer in the category. While Bragi Dash is said to be the first truly wireless earphones, Apple AirPods made the segment truly popular. Now, Realme is teasing the launch of its upcoming truly wireless earbuds that look quite similar to the Apple AirPods, at least in terms of design. Realme has shared some images on Twitter, which show the company’s CEO, CMO and Product Manager wearing the earbuds.

It is quite clear from the Twitter images that the earbuds will be available in Yellow, White and Black colour models. In addition, the company has started sending out launch invite of the earbuds, which are now confirmed to launch on December 17, alongside the Realme XT 730G. In a separate tweet, Realme teased the device's carry case, which is slightly taller and quite closely resembles the AirPods carry case. However, it remains to be seen whether the new buds feature a silicone tip like the AirPods Pro or not. To recall, Madhav Sheth, Realme CEO, initially hinted at the truly wireless earbuds at the launch of the Realme X2 Pro.

Coming to the second product that Realme will launch at the upcoming event, it is expected to be a new mid-range handset. As the name suggests, the Realme XT 730G will be powered by the new Snapdragon 730G processor and is tipped to feature a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display. The device might be made available in 4/64GB and 8/128GB versions and is reported to sport a quad-camera setup that consists of a 64MP primary camera sensor.

Alongside a 64MP primary Samsung GW1 sensor, the device could feature an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP 4cm macro lens. There might be a 32MP sensor on the front for selfies. You can read more about the handset here
