Realme teased the launch of Realme XT 730G aka the Realme X2 back in September when it launched the Realme XT. Up until now, the exact launch date of the phone was not known. Now, Realme has sent out invites for an event will be held on December 17.

As per the invite, Realme will launch a smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset. The Realme truly wireless earbuds can also be expected alongside its upcoming mid-range phone. Moreover, answering a user's query on Twitter, Realme noted, “realme X2 i.e., realme XT 730G will be launched this month.” Since no other Realme events are scheduled for December, it goes without saying that Realme XT 730G will launch alongside the Realme earbuds on December 17.

Realme XT 730G was announced as the Realme X2 in China. It is most likely to be announced in India with the same specifications. The handset features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1080x2340 pixel screen resolution and a waterdrop notch up top. The base variant of the phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and its top-most variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. After the launch of Realme XT, the company teased that the Realme XT 730G will be powered by the Snapdragon 730G chipset.

On the optics front, Realme XT 730G could sport a quad rear camera setup that consists of a 64MP primary Samsung GW1 sensor, same as the Realme X2. Additionally, the main camera might be supplemented with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP 4cm macro lens. It may come with a 32MP selfie shooter.

Realme XT 730G will pack a 4000mAh battery with support for 30W VOOC Flash Charge.
