X down again: Multiple users in India and US are not able to access their news feed
Over 2,000 outage reports in the US and 320+ in India, according to Downdetector.
Majority of users report feed and timeline not loading, while others face app and web issues.
Recurring outages raise concerns as X remains silent on the cause and resolution timeline.
Elon Musk’s microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) is experiencing yet another outage, with thousands of users unable to refresh or access their news feeds. This is the third time the platform has experienced a similar outage. The company has not confirmed the X outage at this time, and official confirmation is still awaited.
SurveyAccording to Downdetector, a real-time outage detection platform, there are over 320 reports in India and over 2,000 in the United States. More than half of users have complained about being unable to access their feed or timeline, 34% have complained about the X application not working, and the remainder have complained about the Web version failing to function.

The outage appears to be affecting users in multiple regions, with the largest impact coming from the United States, followed by the United Kingdom and India. Data from DownDetector indicate that the problem is not limited to one location.
It should be noted that the exact cause is unknown; people reporting DownDetector complaints indicate issues with feed loading and overall platform accessibility rather than specific account issues. It could be due to a server glitch, a sudden spike in traffic, or any other technical issue.
This is not the first time it has occurred. X has experienced several short-term outages this week, which are frequently accompanied by sudden spikes in user reports and quick recovery. So far, the company has not issued an official statement acknowledging the outage or providing a timeline for resolution. However, based on past trends, services are expected to be restored within a few hours of the issue being resolved.
