Live Activities and Dynamic Island: What devices support this feature?

In order to use the Live Activities feature, users must require an ‌iPhone‌ running iOS 16.1. This means, only iPhone 8 and newer models support this feature. Since ‌Dynamic Island‌ is only available on iPhone 14 Pro‌ and ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ Max, one would need either of these phones to use the Dynamic Island‌ of Live Activities.
