However, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman today announced on X that it is now available to free users as well. This means anyone can now create AI-generated images, including the viral Studio Ghibli-style portraits, without needing a paid subscription.

How to create Ghibli-style image in ChatGPT

- Step 3: Use prompts like: “Convert this image into Ghibli art”, “Turn this image into Ghibli art”, “Turn this image into Ghibli style”, “Convert this image into Studio Ghibli art”, “Convert this photo to Studio Ghibli-style anime”, “Ghiblify this image”, or “Create Ghibli version of this image”.
- Step 4: Now, just wait a few seconds (may take minutes), and ChatGPT will generate a beautiful Ghibli-style version of your image. Tap and hold the image, and then select Download/Save.
