Noise Scout was launched recently in India as a smartwatch for kids. It is priced at ₹5,999 and brings several child-centric features. However, it is not the only watch for kids. If you are in the market to buy a new kid smartwatch, here are your best options.

1. Noise Scout
Noise Scout features a 1.4-inch TFT LCD display with 240×240 resolution and 500 units of brightness. You get 150+ watch faces to customize the display background. A 20mm silicone strap is attached to it. It has SIM support, an in-built speaker and a mic system. Not only that, there is a 2MP camera to record video. So, you can do video as well as voice calls.
A 680mAh battery keeps the thing ticking for an advertised 3-day runtime. To charge it fully, Noise says it would take 1 hour. You get basic health and fitness tracking features like a heart rate monitor, activity modes, and calorie counter.
Specific kid-centric features like Geo-Fencing, SoS, Noise Buddy parent app, and School mode are also present in the watch.
Noise has priced the Scout smartwatch at ₹5,999 and you can buy it from Amazon and the company’s official website.
2. Garmin Vivofit Jr Smartband
This has been discontinued by the brand but is still available on e-commerce platforms like Flipkart.
You get 5ATM water resistance, step counting, sleep tracking, apps to assign tasks, sent reminders, silicone straps, and a TFT LCD display. Garmin claims the band can run for 365 days.

3. Fitbit Ace 2 Activity Tracker
If you want a smart band that’s more premium, then Fitbit Ace 2 comes at ₹18,987. It offers a 0.96 screen, step, activity, and sleep tracking, up to 5 days of battery life estimate, and water resistance up to 50 meters.
4. Apple Watch SE
If you want to give your kid a full-blown smartwatch experience, the Watch SE may be a good place to start. Apple introduced Family Setup on iOS 14 and WatchOS 7. This brings the Apple Watch for Kids which is a barebones interface, limiting web access and social media apps, and totally restricting the use of the watch during school hours (called School Mode).
Rest, you get an LTPO OLED panel, fall detection, and trackers for calories, steps, and heart rate.
Apple Watch SE can be bought from Apple Store at ₹34,900. You may get it at a lower price tag from third-party outlets.
5. GOQii Smart Vital Junior
It claims to be a CDSCO-registered medical device with trackers for heart rate, SpO2, body temperature, sleep, and step count. You can also keep tabs on 13 sports modes. On the front, there is a 33mm colour display. The thing is IP68 dust and water resistance. It is rated to run for 7 days on battery.
