Xiaomi TV FX Mini LED series 2026 launches in India: 5 key highlights worth noting
Xiaomi has launched the 2026 range of its TV FX Mini LED series. It is available in 43-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch screen sizes, giving buyers options for their varied room sizes. The launch is significant because it brings Mini LED technology to a more affordable price segment. Mini LED televisions are considered better than standard QLED panels for their colour, contrast and black levels. The new lineup also brings Fire TV software, gaming features and other sought-after technologies you expect from a modern TV series.
SurveySo, if you are intrigued by what the new Xiaomi TV offers, here are the five big takeaways:
We have not reviewed or tested the Xiaomi TV FX Mini LED series yet. The observations in this article are based solely on the specifications and features announced by Xiaomi.
43-inch Mini LED starts at Rs 29999
The biggest talking point of the new lineup is likely that you are getting Mini LED at a 43-inch screen size. This model is being sold at an introductory price of Rs 29999, which should make it really accessible for many. The regular price is Rs 32999, by the way.
If you have a small room or are looking for a compact TV for your bedroom or any other space, due to practical constraints, then this could interest you.
Up to 75 inches: Big-screen, but what’s more?
The Xiaomi TV FX Mini LED series is available in four screen sizes:
- 43-inch: Rs 29999 introductory price (Rs 32999 regular price)
- 55-inch: Rs 39999 introductory price (Rs 44999 regular price)
- 65-inch: Rs 59999 introductory price (Rs 64999 regular price)
- 75-inch: Rs 79999 introductory price (Rs 84999 regular price)

While the software experience of Fire TV OS seems to be largely the same across all variants, we note some hardware upgrades in the larger models:
- Dimming zones: The 43-inch model sports 36 local dimming zones, while the 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch variants increase that count to 54, 76 and 104 zones, respectively.
- Brightness: The 43-inch is said to have 550 nits peak brightness, while the larger variants have 600 nits peak brightness.
- Contrast: The 43-inch model has a contrast ratio of 5000:1, the 55-inch model has 5500:1, and the higher models have 6000:1.
- Gaming support: The 43-inch model is limited to a 60Hz refresh rate, while the 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch versions support DLG 120Hz mode.
- Audio hardware: The larger models use a four-driver speaker setup instead of the dual-speaker configuration found on the 43-inch variant.

FALD and QD-Mini LED
The TV FX series combines QD-Mini LED technology with Full Array Local Dimming (FALD).
So it is an LCD LED TV with thousands of Mini LED backlight behind the panel and each of these TVs have different local dimming zones. This allows for precise control over brightness, contrast and black levels.
Then on top of this, you get a quantum dot layer for colour enhancement, allowing the TVs to cover up to 93% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
The lineup supports HDR10+, HLG and Filmmaker Mode, along with Xiaomi’s Vivid Picture Engine 2 image processing technology.
Fire TV OS
Instead of Google TV, Xiaomi has equipped the TV FX Mini LED series with Amazon’s Fire TV.
The platform provides access to more than 12,000 apps and supports features such as user profiles, parental controls, Apple AirPlay 2 and Alexa voice assistant integration. Xiaomi has also included Quick Wake functionality, allowing the television to power on in under five seconds.
It would be a bonus if you are already invested in Amazon’s ecosystem of products. The integration of Alexa and Fire TV services may offer a reliable smart TV experience.
Gaming features
Xiaomi is also targeting casual gamers with the new lineup:
- The 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch models support DLG 120Hz mode. This is a software-based simulation of a 120Hz refresh rate/smoothness. Xiaomi claims 6.5ms typical response times.
- The entire range includes Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and MEMC technology.
- HDMI 2.1 support is available through one of the HDMI ports, and you also get eARC support for compatible soundbars and audio systems.
Beyond these headline features, the TV FX Mini LED series comes with a quad-core Cortex-A55 processor paired with a Mali-G52 GPU, 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Ethernet, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, optical audio output, AV input and antenna connectivity. Audio support includes Dolby Audio, DTS:X and DTS Virtual:X. As already mentioned, the 43-inch model features a 20W two-speaker setup, while the larger variants use a four-driver speaker system with dedicated high-frequency drivers.
Xiaomi hasn’t heavily differentiated the software and processor across sizes. The biggest upgrades as you move up the range are display quality through additional local dimming zones and higher brightness levels, gaming support through DLG 120Hz, and improved audio hardware.
You can therefore choose your preferred screen size without sacrificing the core smart TV experience. Rest, we hope this article has helped you understand which screen size offers what. You can buy the TV lineup in India starting June 11 through mi.com, Xiaomi Retail, Amazon, and Flipkart.
