Vivo has officially launched the Vivo V50e 5G in India, which features several significant upgrades over its predecessor, the Vivo V40e. The most recent addition to the V50 series boasts improvements in display, performance, camera, design and battery life. It also has IP68 and IP69 ratings for improved dust and water resistance, making it a more reliable mid-range option to consider. Vivo V50e 5G comes with a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 1800 nits. It comes with Schott Diamond Shield Glass protection. Under the hood, the device comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset with Mali G615 GPU. It comes coupled with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The device runs on Android 15 based FunTouchOS 15 and is backed by a 5,600 mAh battery and 90W fast charging. The device will get 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches.

As for cameras, the Vivo V50e 5G gets a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary shooter with OIS along with 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 50MP selfie shooter with 4K recording. The device offers Bluetooth 5.4, in-display optical fingerprint sensor and more.

Vivo V50e 5G price in India, availability
The Vivo V50e 5G starts at Rs 28,999 for 8GB and 128GB storage, while the 8GB and 256GB storage costs Rs 30,999. It will be on sale beginning April 17. Buyers can receive up to 10% bank offers or a 10% exchange bonus. It will be available through Flipkart, Vivo Store, and other platforms.
Customers will have two colour options: Sapphire Blue and Pearl White.
