The Chinese smartphone maker is gearing up for the launch of its next foldable device- the Oppo Find N5. The foldable smartphone is expected to debut on February 20. The launch event will take place at 4:00 PM GMT which is 9:30 PM IST. The global launch event is all set to take place in Singapore. Ahead of the launch, the company has started to tease us about the device. The company claims that it is going to be the slimmest foldable phone yet. Even rumours and leaks online are adding fuel to this fire. Here’s everything we know so far about the Oppo Find N5.

Oppo has started talking about the upcoming foldable device. The Chief Product Officer, Pete Lau, has claimed that the Find N5 will have an almost imperceptible crease—a significant improvement over its predecessors. Early leaks also reveal a real thing crease compared to Oppo’s previous foldable and even rival devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Further, the company claims that the Find N5 will be the world’s thinnest foldable phone. Current leaks suggest that it could be even slimmer than the Honor Magic V3 (4.35mm unfolded, 9.2mm folded), potentially measuring around 4mm when unfolded. We can also get to see titanium frames on it.
The foldable phone can be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. On the rear, the Oppo Find N5 can retain the circular Hasselblad-branded camera module. This time, we can even get to see a periscope telephoto lens. Lastly, the Find N5 can be powered by a 6,000mAh battery and wireless charging support.
Will Oppo Find N5 come to India?
Even though Oppo has announced the Find N5 globally, there is no mention of an India launch from the company’s side. If reports are to be believed, the company might not launch the smartphone directly in India. It can be released as a rebranded OnePlus Open 2. It can be launched in India in the second half of 2025.
