OnePlus is gearing up to launch its next midrange phone- the OnePlus Ace 6 in China this October. The smartphones will later debut in India as the OnePlus 15R, a rebranded version alongside the OnePlus 15. While the handsets are still months away from their debut, leaks suggest that the device will pack significant upgrades in terms of display, performance, and battery life. Additionally, the handset is also rumoured to get a price hike. Although official details are yet to come.

OnePlus 15R specifications
The upcoming OnePlus 15R is rumoured to feature a flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate, making it one of the fastest displays in its segment. Under the hood, the phone is expected to run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the same chip seen in the flagship OnePlus 13, promising flagship-grade performance.
Reports also suggest a massive 7,000mAh unit, a notable jump from the 6,000mAh battery in the OnePlus 13R.
On the camera front, the OnePlus 15R may continue with a triple-camera setup but with upgraded sensors. Other rumours include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The handset is tipped to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering better dust and water resistance compared to the OnePlus 13R’s IP65 rating.

OnePlus 15R price
With these upgrades, the OnePlus 15R is also speculated to get a price jump from the current OnePlus 13R’s price of Rs 39,999. Based on leaks and rumours, it could come with a price tag of around Rs 55,000 in India.
As with all early leaks, these details should be taken with a pinch of salt until OnePlus makes an official announcement.
