Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is Netflix’s first Hollywood movie to get World Premiere in India

Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is receiving its global premiere in India and it's the first Netflix film to do so. The movie's opening night is in Mumbai and its global tour screenings taking will take place in London and Los Angeles, before the movie premieres globally on Netflix, on December 7, 2018.

Mumbai hosted its first-ever global premiere for a major Hollywood film tonight, as Netflix showcased Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle to an exclusive audience.

Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who bring the much-loved characters to life in Hindi, also joined their international cast mates at the premiere.
The opening night in Mumbai marked the beginning of the Mowgli global tour, with screenings taking place in London and Los Angeles, before the movie premieres globally to Netflix members on December 7, 2018.
