Ubisoft has announced the opening of its new studio in Mumba. The studio is focussed over co-development of the company's AAA games and the company aims at recruiting at least 100 candidates for joining their team in the first two years of operation. It will also support the company's live operations like global production needs and create more opportunities for local talents, says the company. Ubisoft already has a studio in Pune and Mumbai Studio will report directly to Jean-Philippe Pieuchot, Managing Director of the Pune studio. The Mumbai studio will also team up with IIT Mumbai to work on research topics with a primary focus on Machine Learning & AI, and Intuit Lab for Game Art.
