Sony Bravia 9 II RGB Mini LED TV launched in India: Price, specs and availability

Sony India has launched the Bravia 9 II in India, its flagship television for 2026. The Bravia 9 II (Mark 2) follows the Bravia 7 II (review) that launched recently which is now available to buy. Both TVs use Sony’s new proprietary True RGB LED technology, making them the first Bravia models to use it. This RGB Mini LED technology uses red, green and blue LEDs in the backlight but these are independently controlled rather than generated through a phosphor layer over a two-diode setup. Sony claims this delivers its highest colour volume in home TV, improved brightness control with reduced blooming, deeper blacks, wider viewing angle consistency and more accurate colour even in bright rooms.
