This is a wireless TV that uses a “Zero Connect” box to enable video and audio transmission

This can be idea for people who don’t want any wires in their homes

LG announces new Signature OLEDs every few years at CES, and this year was no different. The new Signature OLED M breaks the mould as its top features aren’t just limited to the display. The Signature OLED M has a “Zero Connect” box that sends video and audio signals to the TV. This box only needs to be placed up to 30 feet away from the TV itself for it to work. This makes it the “world’s first wireless OLED TV.”

The TV comes with three HDMI ports. All three of these are capable of 4K visuals at 120Hz. The TV also has a pill-shaped antenna that can be spun around for the best wireless performance.

“To ensure the seamless transfer of data from the box to the TV, the company developed an algorithm that instantly identifies the optimal transmission path,” LG said in its press release. “The algorithm also helps to minimize transmission errors or disruptions as it can recognize changes in the immediate environment — such as people or pets moving around the room — and switch paths accordingly.”

Why is this product even needed?

One of the main benefits of the product is that it can simplify cable management. It can be a great option for people who do not like having cables all over the place and want a neat aesthetic in their home. The LG Signature OLED TV is likely to be more expensive than the brand’s largest 8K offering, however, there is no indication of the price yet.
