Vi with its Rs 899 prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day throughout the validity period of 84 days. Not only that, but the users also get 1.5 GB of data per day with that plan. The per-day running cost of the plan comes to around Rs 10.70.

The recharge includes unlimited 5G data for eligible users with a 5G smartphone in an area covered by Vi’s 5G network. However, its importance to the benefit is subject to your usage policy and network availability. Furthermore, Vi is also offering users unlimited data between 12am and 6am without paying extra.

Is the Vi Rs 899 prepaid recharge plan worth it?

As the telecom giant quietly discontinued the Rs 859 prepaid plan, the consumers now have to choose whether they should recharge with the Rs 899 plan or not. While the final decision lies with you, I believe that the Rs 899 plan is a good recharge plan for the users who have heavy data usage and want a longer validity. While the calling and SMS benefits offered with the plan are much like others, the data benefits give the plan an upper hand.
