LG has just launched the LG G6 flagship smartphone in India at a price of Rs 51,990 and going with the current trend, the company has tied up with telecom provider Reliance Jio to offer G6 buyers some exciting data discounts.
Reliance Jio users will get 100GB of free 4G data on purchase of an LG G6 smartphone. The 100GB free data will be valid till March 2018. LG India CMO, Amit Gujral, tells Digit that as soon as Jio subscribers insert their SIM into the LG G6 for the first time, their 100GB free data will be activated.
In addition, LG G6 buyers who are on the Reliance Jio network will also get 10GB of free data with every recharge on Rs 309 till March 2018. The LG G6 can be purchased from Amazon starting tomorrow. Early buyers of the smartphone will also be eligible to get a 50% discount on LG’s Tone Active+ headset priced at Rs 9,990.
To recall, Samsung had announced a similar offer when the Galaxy S8, S8 Plus was launched in India. As per the new offer, Galaxy S8 and S8+ buyers subscribed to Jio Prime membership will get 448GB of 4G data with a monthly recharge of Rs 309. The data will be distributed over next 8 months and Jio users will get 2GB data per day.
