Jio Rs 899 vs Airtel Rs 899 prepaid plan: Validity, data, benefits and more

Choosing the right mobile plan can feel confusing when two big telecom companies offer plans at the same price. Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel both have prepaid plans at Rs 899. Airtel recently changed its Rs 799 plan to Rs 899, matching Jio’s price. But the same price does not mean the same benefits. The real differences are in data, validity, and daily usage limits. These factors can change your experience depending on how you use your phone. Heavy users and light users may prefer different plans. I have compared both plans below so you can clearly see what each one offers in terms of data, SMS, and validity.

Jio Rs 899 vs Airtel Rs 899 prepaid plan: Which one is better?

Jio Rs 899 vs Airtel Rs 899

The better plan depends entirely on what you value more: time and data or content and perks. You can choose the Jio Rs 899 plan if you want more value for your money, as you get 6 extra days of validity and 0.5GB more daily data plus the 20GB bonus. This can be a good choice for the users who have heavy internet usage.

On the other hand, you can go with the Airtel Rs 899 plan if you are a fan of movies and shows. The Xstream Play subscription adds a lot of entertainment value that Jio’s standard plan does not match.
