Xiaomi to launch the Redmi A2 series very soon

Xiaomi might close the launch of the Redmi A2 series very soon.

Redmi A2 series was spotted on the BIS Certification.

The Redmi A2 series will be the successor of the Redmi A2 series.

Redmi A2 series is expected to roll out very soon when the known tipster Mukul Sharma has spotted the Redmi A2 series on the BIS Certification and tweeted it. BIS Certification is India's prime and known certifications for smartphones and devices. Like its predecessors, the Redmi A2 series might include two phones which are Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+. 

Redmi is the budget division of Xiaomi which releases entry to mid-range mobile phones. Redmi phones are quite popular and successful in India. It launched the Redmi A1 series last year in September which included the Redmi A1 and Redmi A1+ as well. The Redmi A1 is still in the top 10 best sellers of Amazon. Sadly, there is not much information about the Redmi A2 series yet but it will be out in the coming days.

Redmi A1 and Redmi A1+ are powered by the Mediatek Helio A22 (12nm) and they run on Android 12OS. Both phones come in two variants; 2GB 32GB and 3GB 32GB.

Both phones also share the same camera configuration with a dual camera setup on the back holding an 8-megapixel primary camera along with a 0.08-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots.

The display specifications of both of the phones are also similar. They feature a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.

Both phones even pack a 5000mAh battery with 10-watt fast charging support. But the only difference which can be spotted in the phone is the Redmi A1 does not come with a fingerprint sensor and Redmi A1+ does. Rest of them, all the specifications between these two phones are the same.
