Xiaomi Redmi Note will be available from today for Rs. 8,999 exclusively via Flipkart.
Xiaomi’s latest phone, the Redmi Note, will go on sale today on Flipkart from 2PM onwards. Xiaomi has revealed that 50,000 units of the phone will be available for purchase today. The octa-core 5.5-inch smartphone has a price tag of Rs.8,999.
From a design perspective, the Xiaomi Redmi Note looks like a larger Redmi 1S. The 5.5-inch smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek processor and is accompanied by 2GB of RAM. The 5-inch display has a resolution of 1280 x 720p. It has 8GB internal storage and can support microSD cards up to 32GB.
The RedMi Note has a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera, and supports dual microSIM cards. The phone runs on Android 4.3 and Xiaomi’s own MIUI 5 interface.
Xiaomi has also ceased selling the RedMi 1S. According to Flipkart, ‘registrations for the Redmi 1S sale is now closed’.
