The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 could launch in Q2 2022 before the end of June 2022
It could feature an 8.1-inch display with a 2K resolution
The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor
There have been recent reports that state that we could see a few foldable smartphones from Xiaomi. Though now we have a possible timeline about Xiaomi's next foldable smartphone, the MIX Fold 2. According to various news reports, the MIX Fold 2 might launch in the second quarter of this year (Q2 2022) which means the device will launch before the end of June 2022.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 Features (Speculated)
Looking at previous reports on Gizmochina, the upcoming second-generation MIX Fold smartphone will feature an 8.1-inch display with 2K resolution. It also mentions, both the inner and outer display panels on the device will be having support for a high refresh rate. Also, it has been claimed that Xiaomi will be using LTPO display panels on this flagship device. That means it could come with support for the adaptive refresh rate as well. It is similar to Samsung which they offer on its premium phones.
This device will be most likely to come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It is expected to have a higher capacity battery and support for fast charging along with wireless charging too. Though Xiaomi’s MIX Fold 2 will be launched this year, there is another foldable smartphone named MIX Flip to take on the limelight with MIX Fold 2. The MIX Flip is will be similar and will competing the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series.
