Xiaomi is all set to expand its smartphone lineup with the upcoming Xiaomi 17T. The device will be a new addition to the existing Xiaomi 17 lineup that currently includes the standard Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. While the company has not officially revealed all details yet, early leaks and reports have already started giving a glimpse of what buyers may expect from the device. If the rumours are to be trusted, then the device is expected to house a massive battery with a triple camera setup at the rear end. Here is a quick look at the expected specifications, possible pricing, and launch details of the Xiaomi 17T ahead of its arrival in India.

The Xiaomi 17T will likely be fuelled by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset under the hood. In addition to this, the device will come equipped with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage capacity using the UFS 4.1 system. The device is set to run on HyperOS 3 and is based on Android 16.
The smartphone is expected to feature a completely flat metal frame with power and volume buttons on the right side, leaving the left rail entirely clean.
Apart from that, the Xiaomi 17T may also come packed with a massive 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. Leaks also suggest support for 67W wired charging, though it drops wireless charging to distinguish it from the Pro model.

Further, the Xiaomi 17T is set to come with a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The display is also expected to offer 3,500 nits peak brightness outdoors. Moreover, Corning Gorilla Glass will be used for protecting the screen, and the device features an IP68 water/dust protection rating.
In terms of optics, the smartphone will feature three rear Leica-branded cameras, including a 50 MP primary camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera, and a 12 MP ultrawide-angle camera. At the front, the device features a 32 MP camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
