Xiaomi has teased the launch of the Redmi Note 12 series in India.

There are rumours indicating that the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will have a 200 MP primary camera.

The launch dates have not been confirmed

Xiaomi has confirmed, via an official social media post, that the Redmi Note 12 5G will be launching in India. The brand also posted a teaser image that showed the smartphone and confirmed that it is the same one that was recently launched in China. While the launch date has not been revealed yet, we do know quite a bit about the specifications based on the smartphone launched in China, and the teaser image itself. Of course, these should still be seen as speculations until the smartphone is officially in the Indian markets. 

Talking about the launch, Xiaomi said “the legacy is about to get 12 times bigger, faster, and super amazing with the most noteworthy phone of the year. The Redmi Note 12 5G series is not just a note, it's the #SuperNote."

The Xiaomi Note 12 series will include three models: Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. 

Redmi Note 12 series prices (rumoured)

The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ comes with two storage variants. The first is 8GB RAM + 256GB while the second is 12GB RAM + 256GB. This model is being sold for CNY 2,199 (which is approximately Rs 25,000) and CNY 2,399 (which is approximately Rs 27,300). This model comes in three colours,  blue, white, and black colours.It is rumoured that this smartphone will be equipped with a 200MP primary sensor, which would be a significant camera upgrade from its predecessor. 

Similarly, the Redmi Note 12 Pro is also available in different configurations. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is available for CNY 1699 (which is around Rs 19,300). The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, on the other hand, is priced at CNY 1,799 (which is around Rs 20,400). There is also an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model that is sold at CNY 1,999 (which is approximately Rs 22,700) and the top model variant, which is 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and is priced at CNY 2,199 (around Rs. 24,900).

The vanilla Redmi Note 12 also comes with four storage configurations. The 4GB RAM +128GB storage is available for CNY 1,199 (which is around Rs 13,600), the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is available for CNY 1,299 (around Rs 14,600), 8GB RAM +128GB storage is sold for CNY 1,499 (which is roughly Rs 17,000) while the top model variant, 8GB RAM +256GB storage variant,  is sold for CNY 1,699 (around Rs 19,300).

When will the Redmi Note 12 series launch in India?

The company has not confirmed the launch date, however, it may be right on the horizon.
