Vivo has launched the Vivo Y15A.
This smartphone has been launched in the Philippines as of now.
It is expected to carry a price tag of approximately Rs 12,000 in India.
Earlier this month, Vivo announced its new offering within the Y series, the Vivo Y15A, an affordable smartphone designed to bring decent features. Now, the smartphone has been officially launched in the Philippines, with two colour variants, Mystic Green and Wave Blue.
Vivo Y15A specifications
Now that the Vivo Y15A has been launched, speculations over the specifications can end! The Vivo Y15A has a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 720 x1600 pixel resolution. The display boasts an eye-protection mode and also houses a water notch for the front camera. This front camera has an 8MP lens, while the primary camera has a dual lens setup featuring a 13 MP primary lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2 MP lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC processor and 4GB RAM. It has a 64GB storage capacity and it runs on Android 11. The smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery capacity.
What is the difference between the Vivo Y15A and Vivo Y15s?
Almost all the specifications of the Vivo Y15A and Vivo Y15s are the same – the difference between the two lies in the RAM and ROM – the Vivo Y15s offers a 3GB RAM along with 32GB storage capacity. Also, the Vivo Y15s runs on Android Go.
When will the Vivo Y15A launch in India?
The Vivo Y15A has been launched in the Philippines as of now. The brand has not revealed if and when the phone will be launched in other markets, including India. The price point is expected to be around Rs 12,000 – but this is something that can only be confirmed after the launch.
