At this price point, it faces competition from the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Oppo F35, both of which were launched earlier this year. Although all three smartphones fall in a similar price range, they offer different specifications and features. The Vivo S2 FE sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits HBM. For comparison, the Redmi Note 17 Pro equips a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits of peak brightness. The Oppo F35, on the other hand, has a 6.57-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,400 nits HBM.

For photography, the Vivo S2 FE houses a dual camera setup on the back, which includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP bokeh sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 17 Pro equips a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP main lens and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP camera on the front. The Oppo F35, on the other hand, houses a 50MP main camera, along with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone has a 50MP camera for selfies.

Under the hood, the Vivo S2 FE is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, and packs a 10,000 mAh battery with 44W charging support. For comparison, the Redmi Note 17 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, and is backed by a 9,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The Oppo F35, on the other hand, sports the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, and packs an 8,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
