A new entry-level smartphone has been launched in India by Tecno. This is the Tecno Spark Go 2024 that has been launched under ₹7,000. The Tecno Spark Go 2024 follows the same ‘Spark’ series design. There are three big rings placed inside a square camera module. Two of them are cameras and one is an LED flash. The Spark Go 2024 will be available in two colour options; Mystery White and Gravity Black colour.
I am comparing this budget smartphone with Xiaomi’s entry-level Redmi 12C smartphone. The Redmi 12C also falls under the same category as the Tecno Spark Go 2024.
Tecno Spark Go 2024 vs Redmi 12C: Display
The Tecno Spark Go 2024 is equipped with a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. This display comes with up to 90Hz refresh rate support. Furthermore, the Spark Go 2024 features the ‘Dynamic Port’, which will be used for notifications and alerts.
On the other hand, the Redmi 12C comes with a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display that also supports HD+ resolution. However, it only supports a 60Hz refresh rate.

Tecno Spark Go 2024 vs Redmi 12C: Performance
The Tecno Spark Go 2024 is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset. Along with that, this smartphone comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The Spark Go 2024 runs on HiOS 13 skin based on Android 13 Go Edition OS.
Whereas, the Redmi 12C packs a MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It runs on MIUI 13 skin based on Android 12 out of the box.
Tecno Spark Go 2024 vs Redmi 12C: Camera
The Tecno Spark Go 2024 is packed with a dual-camera setup. This includes a 13-megapixel primary camera and a VGA sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Redmi 12C also features a dual camera setup. It has a 50-megapixel main camera and a VGA sensor as well. For selfies, there is a 5-megapixel camera.

Tecno has launched the Spark Go 2024 in India at a starting price of ₹6,699. The smartphone will be available on Amazon from December 7.
On the other hand, the Redmi 12C is available on Amazon at a price of ₹6,799.
