Last month Xiaomi launched its latest smartphone in India, the Redmi Note 5 and the Note 5 Pro. Also, the company recently seeded the MIUI 9.2.4.0 update to the Note 5 Pro, enabling the face unlock feature. However, some users have complained of a new reduced audio output issue while using headphones. The problem is not observed while the audio is routed via the main speaker and Xiaomi has said that they will soon roll out an update for the device.

The Face Unlock feature was recently rolled out for the Redmi Note 5 Pro with the MIUI v9.2.4 NEIMIEK update. Xiaomi had promised to roll out the feature by the end of March, however, it arrived for the phone sooner than anticipated. The Redmi Note 5 Pro is also the company’s first smartphone to get the Face Unlock feature.

The Redmi Note 5 and the Note 5 Pro smartphones were launched on February 14 along with the Mi LED Smart TV 4. The company has also launched a new series of television in India, the Mi LED Smart TV 4A. It comes in a 32-inch model which is priced at Rs 13,999 and another 43-inch variant which costs Rs 22,999.

The new television series are watered down variants of the 55-inch Mi LED Smart TV 4, which can stream 4K HDR videos at 60fps. The 43-inch and 32-inch models of the new smart TV 4A series support full HD and HD ready (720p) video playback respectively.  Both variants are equipped with two 10 Watts stereo speakers and support DTS sound.
