One of the biggest upgrades in the W26 is support for satellite calling and messaging. This feature is not available on the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Samsung also pays attention to packaging. The W26 comes in an elegant box that includes a Kevlar case, charging cable, and even a charger, something that is not commonly included.

In terms of performance, the W26 offers 16GB of RAM for both its 512GB and 1TB storage models, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s 512GB version only has 12GB of RAM. The W26 also introduces some exclusive software features like Galaxy AI Smart Collection, which helps users organise images and text more efficiently by dragging them into a dedicated space.

Samsung W26 limited to China market

Samsung’s W series has traditionally been limited to the Chinese market. These phones are designed to appeal to local tastes and are often seen as status symbols rather than everyday devices. In China, the W26 will be sold alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7, giving buyers a choice between a more standard model or a premium, luxury-oriented version.
