Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 – 1 TB Variant Incoming
HIGHLIGHTS

Samsung is still months away from announcing the phone.

The 1 TB storage would be a boon for many.

The expected price of the 1 TB storage variant is expected to be $1,999.

With all the news going around about Samsung’s upcoming folding flagship, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, there’s another bit of news that has caught everyone’s eye. Fresh reports have come in, suggesting that the phone will come in a 1 TB variant, joining the Galaxy S22 Ultra. This information was first reported by SamMobile, and since then, the news has been doing rounds on the internet.

Samsung announced its first foldable smartphone back in 2019. There were obvious design flaws which have been ironed out over generational upgrades. Now with the Z Fold 4, they will be adding one more phone to their lineup. Samsung’s competitor, Apple, is also in the market with its iPhone 13 Pro lineup. With two of their phones, Samsung will now rest and wait for Apple’s next move, which will most probably come in September with its next wave of phones.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 – Boon for data hoarders

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 ditched the microSD expansion slot and came with two storage options, 256 GB and 512 GB. There seems to be no coming back of the microSD expansion option, so the 1 TB option will prove to be a boon for many. A larger storage option becomes even more important with the increasing camera qualities and app sizes.

There is time before Samsung officially releases the Galaxy Z Fold 4, but if the leaks are anything to go by, the phone is already out for everyone to have a look at. From images to specs, information is all over the internet. The only information that has not been put up on the internet is about the cost of the device. Given the history of Samsung’s pricing of its phones, the 1 TB variant of the phone is expected to retail at about $1,999, sitting at the top of the pricing charts.
