Apple has recently increased the prices of some of its iPhone models, and it looks like Samsung is also planning to hop on to the trend. A tipster has recently shared a post claiming that Samsung could soon increase the price of its Galaxy S26 Ultra model.  The flagship is one of Samsung’s most advanced models and comes with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor under the hood. Moreover, the device will also be one of the first devices to receive the much-awaited One UI 9 update along with the other models of the Galaxy S26 series. Here’s everything we know about the expected price hike on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Price hike (Expected)

Tipster Abhishek Yadav has recently shared a post on its official X account claiming that his sources confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be getting a price hike soon. Not only that but the tipster also added that his sources also pointed out that the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra could also get a price revision. However, he added that the source is not certain about the price hike of the devices.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra launched in India with a price tag of Rs 139,999, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 was introduced with a price tag of Rs 174,999, and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra costs Rs 1,99,999.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: What you get

The handset comes with a 6.9-inch display and a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate. The company also claims that the display can be as bright as 2,600 nits when used under direct sunlight.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra draws its power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and gets paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. Out of the box the smartphone runs on One UI 8.5, a skin based on Android 16.

You also get a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood, which is further supported by 60W fast wired charging. Do note that the device also supports wireless charging. In terms of optics, the device comes with a quad camera setup at the rear end. It includes a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens and a 50MP telephoto camera. For selfies and video calls, the device also sports a 12 MP front camera.
