Leaked renders suggest the upcoming Ultra will feature a display with more rounded corners, moving slightly away from the boxy look of its predecessor. Alongside the new shape, the phone could also feature a revamped rear camera module with three lenses arranged in a pill-shaped island. While these changes are subtle, the device is expected to ship with some significant upgrades.

Tipster PhoneArt (@UniverseIce) has dropped multiple images of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, revealing the front of the phone. The tipster claimed that the upcoming device may have more curved corners than its predecessor, resembling the Pixel and iPhone’s designs.

Additionally, the hole punch display cutout to house the selfie camera and the bezels primarily appear to be the same as this year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra. Recently, a report highlighted that the Galaxy S26 series is set to get a “major design” overhaul.

Moreover, the previously leaked images of the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s rear panel show the handset with a redesigned rear camera module. Expected to sport a quad rear camera unit, three of the camera lenses could be placed inside a pill-shaped island. 

As the South Korean tech giant has yet to confirm any details about the handset, this information should be taken with a pinch of salt.

According to early leaks, the smartphone could sport a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 3,000 nits of peak brightness, ensuring exceptional outdoor visibility and ultra-smooth performance.

Under the hood, the device is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of internal storage, making it a powerhouse for multitasking and gaming. Samsung might retain the 5,000mAh battery capacity, but upgrades the charging speed to 60W, promising faster top-ups without compromising battery health.

For photography, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could feature a quad rear camera setup headlined by a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, complemented by a 10MP secondary telephoto camera for enhanced zoom versatility. On the front, users can expect a 12MP selfie shooter

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra launch date in India

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, along with the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26+, is said to launch in the last week of February. As per the recent leaks, the company may host Galaxy Unpacked on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco. However, the exact details remain under wraps.
