Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra India launch date

Samsung is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra in the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, which is reported to be held on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco.  At this event, the company is expected to launch the Galaxy S26 series, including the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Going by Samsung’s usual pattern, the phone could arrive in India a few weeks after the global launch. However, Samsung has not officially confirmed the India launch date yet. The Galaxy S25 series was launched earlier than expected, so there is also a small chance that Samsung may change its schedule again. For now, February 2026 remains the most likely launch window.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra specs

Early leaks suggest that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could come with a large 6.9-inch display and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, the device is also expected to go up to the peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Under the hood the device is expected to run on the latest Snapdragon processor. Aside from that, the device may come with 16GB of RAM, and the storage options may go up to 1TB.

The device is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with fast wired charging and improved wireless charging. The recently leaked video also shows that the Galaxy S26 Ultra may come with a triple camera setup that is rumoured to feature a 200MP main camera, along with a 50MP ultrawide, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 10MP telephoto lens. Lastly, the device is expected to run on One UI 8.5, which is based on Android 16.

While the company has not officially announced the prices of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra yet, the reports suggest that it could launch around Rs 1,34,999. However, please note that these are just expected prices, and the original price will be revealed at the time of the launch.
