The South Korean giant is expected to drop the flagship series in January itself. From previous trends, we can expect to see the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Apart from this, rumours also suggest that we can get to see a Galaxy S25 Slim version. Let’s take a look at what we can expect from the base Galaxy S25.

Samsung Galaxy S25 expected specifications

  • Display: The vanilla Galaxy S25 can pack a 6.1-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED panel with HDR10+ support and a 120Hz refresh rate.
  • Processor: The Galaxy S25 will reportedly feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset globally. We can get to see a “For Galaxy” version on the entire Galaxy S25 series. This can be coupled with 12GB RAM in the base variant.
  • Software: It will most likely run on Android 15-based One UI 7, bringing a refreshed interface and new features like Galaxy AI.
  • Camera: The Galaxy S25 is expected to retain its predecessor’s setup. We can get to see a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 12-megapixel front camera will handle selfies.
  • Battery: The Galaxy S25 can pack a 4,000mAh battery.

Coming to the prices now, the Galaxy S25 is expected to be priced at around Rs 85,000 for the base model with 128GB storage. Compared to its predecessor, it can see a Rs 5,000- Rs 7,000 increase. But for now, let’s take it with a pinch of salt.
