The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 comes with incremental upgrades over its predecessor. It features a 13MP rear and front cameras, both sporting a f/1.9 aperture lens.

Samsung has listed the new Galaxy J7 Prime 2 smartphone online, on its Samsung Shop website. It is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and is quite similar to its predecessors in terms of specifications and design. The smartphone comes with an overhauled camera and refreshed capacitive buttons. It is listed on the Samsung Shop at a price of Rs 13,990 but is currently shown as sold out. 

The smartphone features a metallic unibody design and comes with a 16:9 display aspect ratio. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and also comes with options like Samsung Pay Mini and image search via Samsung Mall app. In terms of specifications, the device features a 5.5-inch full HD TFT display with a 1920 X 1080p resolution and is powered by the company’s own Exynos 7 Series SoC, which is clocked at 1.6GHz. It comes with 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

In the camera department, the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 features a 13MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and an LED flash. On the front, it is equipped with a 13MP sensor with the same aperture lens and in comparison, its predecessor sports an 8MP camera. The smartphone is backed by a 3,300mAh battery, which Samsung claims is capable of delivering up to 21 hours of call time on 3G and up to 14 hours on video playback. It comes with connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE, GPS, FM Radio, a micro USB 2.0 port for charging and a 3.5mm audio jack.
