Samsung Galaxy A7, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, is now available for purchase from Samsung stores for Rs. 30,499.
Samsung, which recently announced its A range of smartphones, namely the A3 and A5, has now added the Galaxy A7 to the list. Like all Galaxy A series phones, the Galaxy A7 features a unibody design. It has a 6.3 mm profile making it one of the slimmest Galaxy smartphones available right now.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC. It is an octa-core SoC which comprises of two sets of Cortex-A53 CPUs (Quad-core 1.7 GHz + Quad-core 1 GHz ). The smartphone has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED full HD display and features Gorilla Glass 4 protection on top of it. The phone does include a microSD card slot with expansion options of upto 64GB via a microSD card over the 16GB internal storage.
The octa-core phone offers 2GB of RAM. It also features a 13MP camera at the rear and a 5MP camera up front. The phone has dual-SIM capabilities and supports 4G connectivity. It has a 2,600mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box.
The phone offers a better build quality over the similarly specced HTC Desire 820 which is available for less than Rs. 25,000. The Samsung Galaxy A7 is available for purchase from Samsung stores and is available in white, black and gold.
