Redmi Turbo 5 India launch date, specifications, price and all other leaks
Redmi Turbo 5 is set to debut in India on June 16 and will be sold via Amazon.
The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra and offer up to 24GB total RAM support.
It is expected to feature a 7,560mAh battery with 100W fast charging and a 50MP Sony primary camera.
Soon after the launch of Xiaomi 17T, the buzz about the Redmi Turbo 5 started to get attention on the internet. Redmi has already confirmed that the Turbo 5 will launch in mid-June and will be positioned as one of the brand’s most performance-focused offerings. Interestingly, the company has also started teasing details including chipset, memory and cooling system. The company is also teasing the device as its fastest smartphone yet and claims it will feature the largest battery ever seen on a Redmi handset. The Redmi Turbo 5 is set to launch in India on June 16. The smartphone will be available through Amazon, with a dedicated microsite already live on the e-commerce platform. Redmi has also showcased the handset in black and white colour options, although the official marketing names remain under wraps.
While the company has not yet announced Indian pricing, the handset is expected to be priced in between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000.

Redmi has confirmed that the Turbo 5 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor. The phone will support up to 24GB of total memory, including 12GB of virtual RAM, and is expected to feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
The device is expected to offer the same specs as its Chinese counterpart. And if true, the device may offer a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. It may pack a 7,560mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
In terms of camera, the device may offer a dual camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it carries a 20MP selfie camera. However, these details are still not confirmed yet and we may have to wait for a few more days to know more about the device.
