Xiaomi is now reportedly gearing up to introduce the Redmi Note 17 Pro series in India after the Redmi Note 17. As per the tipster Yogesh Brar, the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will launch in India next month. The Note 17 Pro series is said to feature some upgrades and will be expensive from the predecessor, the report added. The upgrades may include a bigger display, battery and improved durability. Redmi Note 17 Pro, Pro Max India launch date

According to a post shared by Yogesh Brar on X, the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Note 17 Pro Max can launch in India on September 15. Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the Indian launch date or pricing yet. For the unversed, the Redmi Note 17 series is already scheduled to make its global debut on August 27.

As per the latest leaks, the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max can be priced by around Rs 5,000 to Rs 8,000, although the final pricing will only be known at launch. The reports suggest the Redmi Note 17 Pro can be priced at Rs 37,999 while the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max can be priced at around Rs 42,999.

Redmi Note 17 Pro, Pro Max specifications

The Redmi Note 17 Pro is expected to feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Earlier leaks have suggested that the smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and feature a 9,000mAh battery with 67W charging. It may also get a 50MP primary camera and a 16MP front-facing camera.

The Note 17 Pro Max may retain the same 6.83-inch 120Hz panel but may use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. Xiaomi’s global information lists a 10,000mAh battery for the Pro Max, along with support for 100W fast charging. The retail package, however, will reportedly not include a charger.

The Note 17 Pro Max is tipped to feature a 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens and 32-megapixel selfie camera.
