Redmi K70E official teaser reveals Dimensity 8300 Ultra, gaming test results & more

The Redmi K70 series is set to launch in China very soon. This upcoming lineup is expected to consist of three models: the Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro, and Redmi K70E. Now, the company has shared a sneak peek at what the Redmi K70E smartphone model will feature. Let’s take a look.
Redmi teased on the Chinese micro-blogging platform Weibo that the K70E smartphone will be powered by the Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset, reports Gizmochina.

MediaTek recently unveiled the Dimensity 8300 SoC. The Redmi K70E is set to incorporate its Ultra variant, suggesting enhanced CPU/GPU performance.

The company also shared the K70E’s AnTuTu v10 benchmark score of 1,526,328 points.
Moreover, the company revealed gaming test results, demonstrating the device’s capabilities. During a one-hour gaming session with an “open-world game” at a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, the smartphone maintained an average frame rate of 58.86 FPS.
The Redmi K70E is expected to leverage the AI capabilities of the Dimensity 8300. Redmi shared that the K70E smartphone will enable functions like generating new sentences and producing photos based on text prompts. Moreover, it will support features such as photo expansion (similar to Adobe’s Generative Fill), real-time subtitles, and improved photo album search via AI.
Rumours suggest that the upcoming K70E smartphone model is expected to feature a 1.5K resolution OLED display. Also, it could come packed with a 5,500mAh battery with support for 90W charging. The K70E smartphone is also said to come with the Android 14 OS and feature the MIUI 15 custom skin right out of the box.
While Redmi has already confirmed that the upcoming Redmi K70 lineup will debut later this month, the exact launch date is still unknown.
