Redmi K50 series has debuted in the Chinese market with the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. Although, we were expecting the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+ variants, the company has unveiled only this one today. Anyhoo, it is the top-rung model and so, comes wielding the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a 120Hz refresh rate display, 64MP triple camera setup and 120W fast charging support.

Redmi K50 series Specs and Features

Redmi K50 Gaming Edition (GE) sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. There is a 20MP IMX596 selfie clicker up front. As for the back cameras, you get a 64MP Sony IMX686 paired with an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP macro sensor.

Inside, the phone is carrying Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with a 4860 mm² dual vapor chamber solution for heat dissipation. The offered memory configuration are up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The battery size is 4700mAh and comes bolstered by 120W fast charging support. This charger is said to fill up the tank full in 17 minutes.

Now, being a gaming device, you get features like a game tuner, 4D vibration, JBL tuned stereo speakers (with Dolby Atmos, Hi-res certification), and shoulder buttons.

Redmi K50 gaming Edition runs on Android 12 based MIUI 13. It also comes with WiFi 6, Gorilla Glass Victus, and X-axis vibration motor.

Redmi K50 series Price and Availability

Redmi has priced the K50 Gaming Edition at CNY 3299 (~₹39,000) for the 8+128GB model, CNY 3599 (~₹42,600) for the 12+128GB model, and lastly, CNY 3899 (~₹46,100) for the 12+256GB unit.

The company has also showcased a special Mercedes AMG variant of Redmi K50 Gaming Edition priced at CNY 4199 (~₹49,700) for its 12+256GB memory combination.
